December 2020: The Principal's Medal is the highest award that can be given in recognition of staff and students' outstanding contributions to the University. Image The Principal’s Medal was first awarded in 2008 and is one of the most important ways in which the University recognises both professional services and academic colleagues or current students who have made outstanding contributions to both the University and wider communities and consistently demonstrated the University’s Values. Just 23 Medals were conferred to individuals and some groups for the year, across all three Colleges, corporate, information and secretarial staff, and cross-university groups.
