December 2016: Congratulations to Pat Swan on her 40 years service

The Centre would like to congratulation Pat Swan on her 40 years service to the university. At a recent reception for long serving members of staff, Pat received a gold pin in recognition of her long service.

 

Pat started in August 1976 in the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh, Department of Medicine as a Junior Biomedical Scientist, specialising in Clinical Biochemistry in 1981. As a Biomedical Scientist in Renal Medicine she performed diagnostic and research lab work. In 1998 she became a Senior Biomedical Scientist and Lab Manager to Professor Neil Turner’s Renal and Autoimmunity Research Group and then a Lab Manager in the CIR from ~2008.
