May 2017: Mary Erskine’s S1 pupils visit the CIR to learn about inflammation research Image Four Secondary 1 pupils from Mary Erskine’s School had a wonderful morning visiting the Centre, gaining wonderful insights into inflammation research and life as a scientist! Hosted by Dr Gwo-tzer Ho, the students were given a broad taste of science. From zebrafish as a biological model, gut and liver diseases, and to Seahorse technology to measure cellular energy.
