May 2017: Congratulations to Dr Ahsan Akram The Centre for Inflammation Research is delighted to announce that Dr Ahsan Akram has been successful in being awarded a CRUK Intermediate Fellowship to investigate the potential of fibroblast activation protein expressing cancer associated fibroblasts from lung cancer as imaging biomarkers for immunotherapy stratification. Dr Akram will be sponsored by Professor Margaret Frame and continue to work closely with Dr Kev Dhaliwal with whom he did his PhD. Publication date 22 May, 2017
