May 2017: Discussion with students at Northallerton School and Sixth Form College on Scientific Research at Edinburgh. On 12 May, Dr Craig Poland of the Centre for Inflammation Research, University of Edinburgh went to speak to students at Northallerton School and Sixth Form College (North Yorkshire). Craig spoke to a mixed group of GCSE and A-Level students, as well as Year 9 students, on his research into the health effects of nanoparticles and what it is like to work as a researcher more generally.
