July 2016: Work placement programme for high school students Science Insights is a work placement programme for high school students about to enter S6. The 2016 programme will welcome students to Little France Campus as part of a week-long event. The programme (week starting 25 July) will include facility tours, talks, workshop sessions and researchers shadowing. The CIR and PROTEUS will be running research taster sessions on ‘Fluorescent dyes as contrast imaging agents’, ‘Identifying inflammatory cells under the microscope and loading and running western blots’ and ‘Looking at inflammation response in zebrafish’.
