Edinburgh University science magazine

March 2012: CIR PhD student is the current Editor-in-chief of EUSci magazine

CIR PhD student Silke Logermann is the current Editor-in-chief of EUSci magazine.

EUSci, the Edinburgh University Science Media Communication society works to support public interest in science through numerous workshops, a podcast, seminar series, and EUSci magazine. It is a collaboration between students and staff at the University of Edinburgh across all departments, receiving support from The British Heart Foundation, The University of Edinburgh’s Institute for Academic Development, and the Edinburgh Beltane Beacon for Public Engagement.  EUSci magazine appeals both to readers who are non-specialists interested in science and to professional scientists, and is used regularly as a resource for outreach activities in Scottish schools.
