January 2019: CIR Principal Investigator awarded a prestigious Lectureship from the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry Image Marc Vendrell has been awarded the prestigious 2018 Marcial Moreno Lectureship by the Catalan Section of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry. The Marcial Moreno Lectureship recognises the work of outstanding young researchers in any discipline of Chemistry. In the last few years, his research group has pioneered the development of chemical tools for high-resolution imaging of biological systems. Vendrell has published over 70 articles and is co-inventor of 9 patents, some of which have led to commercial products and collaborative agreements with industry. Since 2018, he holds a European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator Grant. Publication date 17 Jan, 2019
