December 2011: Game deals with the subject of infectious diseases In 2009, CIR researcher Dr Marieke Hoeve was awarded a grant to develop an educational scientific children’s game, based on Happy Families from the Edinburgh Beltane Beacon of Public Engagement Programme. The game deals with the subject of infectious diseases. CIR PI Donald Davidson soon became involved in developing this game and illustrated the cards in 2011. The British Society of Immunology undertook completion of this project and the game was recently launched at the BSI Annual Congress in December 2011. Publication date 07 Sep, 2016
